CSIR UGC NET Exam June 2022 – National Testing Agency (NTA) invites online applications for the the Joint CSIR UGC NET Examination June-2022 to determine eligibility of Indian nationals to be considered for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) as well as Lectureship (LS) or Assistant Professor positions at Indian Universities and Colleges in CBT mode.

▶ Essential Educational Qualifications:-

M.Sc. or equivalent degree/Integrated 4 years of BS-MS/BS-BSBE/ B. Tech/ B. Pharmaor MBBS with at the minimum of 55 percent (without rounds off) scores in the case of general (UR)/General-EWS as well as OBC candidates, and 50% marks (without the rounding off) for third gender, SC/ST and persons with disabilities (PwD) applicants.

Candidates who are enrolled in M.Sc. or who have passed 10+2+3 years of the qualifying examination by the date of closing for online submission of the Application Form is qualified to apply in the above subject area under the Results Awaited (RA) classification under the condition of completing the qualification degree with the required percentage of marks within two years of the date of announcement of Joint CSIR-UGC NET Test results in the event that they fail to do so, they will be considered not eligible.

Candidates must fill out an attestation form signed by the head of the department or institute from which the candidate is currently or has already appeared ( Annexure-V).

B.Sc. (Hons.) (Hons.) or equivalent, or students enrolled in an Integrated MS-PhD programs that have at minimum 55% scores in the case of (UR)/General (UR)/General-EWS and OBC candidates. 50% marks for third gender, SC/ST, People with Disabilities (PwD) applicants are qualified to apply. Candidates who hold a Bachelor’s degree can be qualified to apply for CSIR fellowships only after being admitted to a Ph.D./Integrated Ph.D. program within the two years. Candidates who have only a bachelor’s degrees are eligible to apply in the category of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and not the Lectureship (LS)/Assistant Professor. ^(without Rounding).

B.E.or B.S./ B.Tech.or B.Pharmaor MBBS Final year/results awaited applicants are eligible for fellowships only. These candidates will not be eligible for Lectureship/Assistant professor.

Lectureship/Assistant professor. B.Sc. (Hons.) Candidates who have not yet received their results are not qualified to apply.

The specification of degrees (whether Master’s or Bachelor’s) as specified through UGC by way of its Gazette Notification No. F. 5-1/2013 (CPP-II) on July 5th 2014, and modified from time to time is applicable.

The eligibility for Lectureship/Assistant Professor of NET qualified candidates will be subject to fulfilling the criteria laid down by UGC. Ph.D. degree holders who have passed Master’s degree prior to 19th September 1991, with at least are eligible to apply for Lectureship/Assistant Professor only. ^(without the rounding)

Candidates who fall in the third gender can enjoy the same benefits in fees, age and Eligibility Criteria for the NET (i.e. JRF as well as Assistant Professor) similar to those in SC/ST categories. The subject-specific qualifying criteria for this category are the lowest among the SC/ST/PwDOBC-NCL/General-EWS subjects in the same category.
