According to police, the actress claimed she had no notion of her participation in the Chennai event, at which she was invited was connected to this crime.

Chandrashekar who is currently detained is accused of deceiving several people, including prominent individuals, such as ex- Fortis Healthcare promoter Shivinder Mohan Singh’s wife Aditi Singh.
Fatehi was previously interrogated at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in this instance.
On the 17th of August on the 17th of August, the ED issued a charge document that named the actor Jacqueline Fernandez as an accused of a multi-crore money laundering case that is linked to Chandrashekar. The charge sheet states that according to ED, Fatehi and Fernandez received luxury vehicles as well as other extravagant items from the Chandrashekar.
Following Jacqueline Fernandez was identified as a suspect of being a suspect by the Enforcement Directorate in Sukesh Chandrasekhar’s 200 crore money laundering case investigators are currently looking into the involvement of Nora Fatehi as well. As per ANI, Nora was asked more than 50 questions in this investigation. The actress said that she was offered a ticket for a charity function and at the same time she was presented with the gift of a Gucci Bag and an iPhone by Leena Paulose who is the wife of Sukesh Chandrasekhar.
In the past, Jacqueline Fernandez, in her plea to PMLA’s Appellate Authority of PMLA, said it was shocking that other stars such as Norah Fatehi who was also coerced by main suspect Sukesh Chandrashekhar, were named as a witness in the investigation, whereas she’s identified as an accused.
In the chargesheet supplementary to the case that the ED claims that “The investigation conducted so far has revealed that the accused, Jacqueline Fernandez, is knowingly directly and indirectly involved in the process and activity connected with the proceeds of crime and acquired, possessed and used part proceeds of crime by way of receiving valuable gifts and huge amounts for herself and her family members in India and abroad and thereby committed an offence of money laundering under section 3 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002.”
